Leading organisation
- The Fleming Initiative – Provides overall coordination of the DxAMR Collaborative. The Initiative combines research, behaviour change, public engagement, and policy to deliver innovative, real-world solutions for antimicrobial resistance.
Hosting partners
These organisations provide essential hosting, administrative, and logistical support for the Collaborative:
- CAMO-Net (Centres for Antimicrobial Optimisation Network) – A Wellcome-funded global research partnership working across 11 countries to improve antimicrobial use through diagnostics, stewardship, and decision-support systems.
- WACCBIP (West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens, University of Ghana) – A regional centre of excellence enhancing research, training, and collaborations to strengthen diagnosis, surveillance, and control of infectious diseases. WACCBIP is our inaugural secretariat.

In addition to core partners, the DxAMR Collaborative benefits from the engagement of numerous organisations across government, research, civil society, and the private sector. Our launch in 2025 was funded by the Wellcome Trust and Cepheid.
